The electrical system does not allow for appliances producing great amounts of heat, such as hair dryers, toasters, irons, etc. You know, the native islanders didn't use those either. However, you can plug in your computer, charge batteries for cameras and shavers, and enjoy our wonderful selection of CDs and tapes on our stereo system.
